Sometimes a person can feel lost in his or her own life.
You wake up and realize that everything you’ve worked hard for, (On that nose-to-the-grindstone, soul testing, heart pounding, never-coming-up-for-air, hard work.) is materializing into a fruit of some kind. And, then you get scared.
This ripened fruit must now be harvested, but, do you really want it?
What if you thought you were planting cherry trees, and peach trees blossomed instead?
You freak out. ‘What the hell have I been doing all this time to get this?’ You may ask yourself. ‘Now what?’
“I’m like a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do if I caught one.” ~Heath Ledger as The Joker
But, it’s always darkest before dawn.
And, you’ll find your answers if you’re looking and patient; and willing to learn something new about yourself. Because, maybe you were planting peach trees all along.
Perhaps, you simply neglected to look more closely at your process. And, perhaps that’s where the learning is found.
Maybe that’s where your success lies; not in the harvest but in the sowing of the seeds.
